1. Last Friday we had yet another zoo trip! This time it was the girls, my sister, her two kiddos and myself. The kids had a blast and loved riding the train, camel and carousel. I think Neve would go to the zoo every day if she could!
2. Friday night Nick and Ellie went camping with a couple of the neighbor guys and their kids at the nearby campground. They had a blast, with both Ellie and Nick coming home pretty tired (Ellie took a 5 hour nap Saturday afternoon!)
3. Since Nick and Ellie we doing something special, Neve and I decided we needed to do the same. We ended up joining Megan, Mike and the kids for dinner at Pizza Ranch, followed by time at the park. Neve had a blast and loved the extra time with Liam and Alida without having to share them with an older sister.
4. On Saturday morning Neve decided she wanted to wear her big girl Frozen (the Disney movie) underwear. I had planned to start potty training the first weekend in September when Daddy was gone, but I guess Neve had other plans. I must say, compared to Ellie it has taken longer for her to be willing to potty train, but when she was ready it was/is super easy!
5. Tuesday we went to the Iowa State Fair for Farm Bureau Day at the Fair. The girls enjoyed doing the "Little Hands on the Farm". We spent a decent amount of time looking for and standing in line for the bathroom (see #4).
