1. We went out to dinner at one of our favorite restaurants on Saturday: Cosi Cucina. Love that place and it being DM Restaurant Week made for a very inexpensive meal and a ton of leftovers for Sunday's lunch!
2. On Sunday Nick had his fantasy football draft. The neighbor ladies (whose husbands were all doing the draft) decided that meant a pool/water table day (given the hot weather) and picnic. I think the kids got a little hot outside, despite being in the shade. But we had a good time and the kids got to play together.
3. Ellie's dance class lasts 45 minutes... and the grocery store is just across the street. My goal: Get the week's grocery shopping while Ellie is at dance class. I tried it for the first time on Tuesday and it was a success--- with 15 minutes to spare!
4. The girls and I went to the fabric store on Wednesday after day-care. I am going to attempt to make Ellie a dance bag. Wish me luck--- OK, I don't think it should be that hard, just need to find time to get it done.
5. I am painting the girls' rooms today. Ellie decided if Neve was going to get her entire room painted then she wanted hers painted as well. Purple for Ellie and pink for Neve. I hope it is not too much for me in terms of color (says the girl who likes everything painted tan).
