Time for Silverware

We have started letting Ellie use silverware for dinner.

She still prefers her fingers.

5 on Friday

1. We spent part of last weekend at AAU basketball games watching my two oldest nieces play. Ellie was very interested in watching all the action. Way to go Ally and Sammy- we are so proud of you two!

2. I also got the pleasure of taking my brother's younger two girls to our house to play during one of the four games. It was hilarious having a almost 5 year old, almost 3 year old and 1 year old all packed into the backseat of the Taurus (yes, you can fit three car seats in the back seat of that car!) I loved it!

3. Ellie also got to go swimming in a big pool for the first time with her cousins. She did great in the big pool.

4. Super fun weekend, not so fun Monday and Tuesday as Ellie and I were sick with the stomach flu.

5. Since we were sick I wasn't able to pull the picture of Ellie and her cousin, Ruby, swimming off the camera and get it posted for Ruby's birthday on Monday. So a Belated Happy 3rd Birthday to Ruby! (Picture to come in a later post.)

Getting ready for Bunky

I started going through Ellie's old baby items so I could pass
them onto my sister and her husband who are due in July.

Ellie thought she need to test them to make sure they still worked.

Crazy to think just a year ago she was playing under it.

Good thing I threw some extra food down here at dinner last night.

Elmo

Ellie doesn't watch much TV. They don't have TV at day-care, and we listen to music more than we watch TV in our house. We can go weeks without her seeing the TV turned on.

The one TV show Ellie does gets to watch is Sesame Street on Saturday mornings when we are home. Oddly enough, the only part she actually pays attention to--- Elmo's World.

Of course she watches it with her Elmo toy that Grandpa Larson gave her for her birthday.

5 on Friday... OK, Saturday

1. Our vacation last week was a lot of fun! Post on that to come later.

2. I think Ellie got very spoiled at Grandma and Grandpa's house. They took here everywhere and she loved getting to go 'bye-bye'.

3. Ellie had her 15 month baby well check on Monday. Also another post with more details to come.

4. Monday night we hit up the Cuming Tap for some yummy, yummy tacos!

5. The rest of the week was pretty uneventful. After Scottsdale, Vegas and Grandma & Grandpa's, staying at home just isn't as exciting.
