I was going through papers and files the other week and found all of the girls stat pages from their Well Checks.  I love it!   Here are Ellie's:

2 Month Stats

We had Genevieve's 2-month Well Baby visit today. Dr. Jay was impressed with her sleeping schedule and said she looks healthy.   Genevieve was not a fan of getting shots.

I don't exactly understand how the percentile ranks work.  When comparing the two girls does that mean that kids now weigh more on average and have smaller heads?  

Either way, we grow them big and long (as babies anyway).  I compared my blog entries about Ellie at 2-months with where Genevieve is... they are really similar.  Sleeping about the same and both really happy babies (although Ellie does like to shop more than Neve does).  Nick and I are very lucky to have such wonderful daughters.

2-week Stats

We had Genevieve's 2-week Well Baby visit today. As the Dr. put it, "she is a perfect baby." She has great color, is growing like a champ, and is very easy. Here are her stats compared with Ellie's:

Weight: 9 pounds 10 ounces
Height: 22 inches
Head circumfrance: 14 1/2 inches

Ellie's 2-week stats

Weight: 9 pounds 2.5 ounces (95 percentile)
Height: 20 1/2 inches (85 percentile)
Head circumfrance: 14 1/2 inches (89 percentile)

Unfortunately, our regular Dr. was on rounds this week and the Dr. we saw didn't give us the percentile rank. But you can see from Ellie's stats that Neve should be scoring pretty high since she weighs more and is longer than Ellie was. I am sad that Neve's longest period between feedings is 4 hours and not the 5.5 hours Ellie was doing at this point. I guess it is a trade-off that Neve rarely cries and Ellie had a fussy period from 7-10pm each night. They are each their own person.

18 Month Stats

Although late, Ellie is still closer to 18 months than she is 24 months... so I will still post this (notice her 15 month stats are making their first appearance on the blog today). Eleanor still has iron issues and we are going to recheck her at her 24 month check-up. Other than that she is doing great! Her development is right on track, or a little ahead. She continues to grow like a weed, and has the stats to prove it. Her weight gain relative to her peers has slowed down some, but she is still above average. Here is her record to date:

1-year Stats

A couple of weeks ago we went in for Eleanor's 1-year well check-up with Dr. Jay. Overall, it was a good visit. She does have low iron, so she is on some iron supplements right now and will go back in for more testing in a month or so. The Dr. also heard an irregular heartbeat, it was re-starting as he put it. We followed up with an EKG at the hospital a few days later, and got the test results back this week: everything looks good!

Eleanor is getting taller and back up in the 90% range, while her weight percentile dropped again this visit. She is developing well, right on track for her age. It is crazy to think of how far she has come in just this short year.

2 Week Dr. Visit

We had Ellie's two week Dr. visit last Monday, and she is growing like a weed! If her percentile stats are any reflection of her future grades in school we are set!

Weight: 9 pounds 2.5 ounces (95 percentile)
Height: 20 1/2 inches (85 percentile)
Head circumfrance: 14 1/2 inches (89 percentile)

Her breast-milk induced jaundice has gone down considerably (which we could already tell as the yellow/orange color has all but gone away) and she is doing great on her feedings! She is still a decent night sleeper, lasting 3.5-5.5 hours between feedings and going back to sleep immediately after she is done eating. That makes for one happy Momma!

This week she has started holding her head up more and more. She is also a new fan of just laying in bed and looking around! A couple times today I head her making noises and went in to check what was going on, only to find her looking around completely content.

We are still waiting for the shoe to drop, as things have been going very well thus far. We have had a few fussy days last week, but other than that it has been pretty easy (knock on wood).
